Methods Workshop: Researching Social Relations in Urban Environments

Organised by: Real Life Methods, part of the National Centre for Research

Registration is now open for this seminar looking at how different
methodological approaches to the study of social relations in urban
environments affect research design, practice and findings.

Three speakers each give a brief introduction to the methodological
approaches they have used to research this topic and the issues and
challenges raised as a result. Followed by discussion from all
participants.

As part of the research seminar series in Planning and Sustainability,
Lorraine Allibone and Dr Andy King from the School of Social Science of
Kingston University London will present “Sustainable ‘sites of
association’? Conflict and consensus in a learning space”.
